Palm Springs Public Library Foundation Kobo E-Reader Sweepstakes

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. SPONSOR: The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is the Palm Springs Public Library Foundation ("Sponsor"), located at 4721 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264.

2. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the State of California who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Directors, officers, and employees of the Sponsor, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members, are not eligible to enter or win.

3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on Saturday March 21st, 2026 at 11:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) and ends on Saturday, March 21st, 2026 at 2:00 PM PT (the "Promotion Period").

4. HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, visit https://www.pslibraryfoundation.org/kobo-sweepstakes and complete the newsletter sign-up form. You must provide a valid email address.

  • Limit: One (1) entry per person/email address. Limited to new subscribers only.

  • Consent: By entering, you agree to receive email newsletters and updates from the Sponsor. You may unsubscribe at any time; however, if you unsubscribe prior to the drawing date, your entry may be forfeited.

5. PRIZE: One (1) winner will receive a Kobo Clara BW E-Reader.

  • Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $139.99 (excluding tax).

  • The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other substitution is permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

6. ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

7. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: On or about Monday, March 23, 2026, the Sponsor will select one potential winner in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified via the email address provided at the time of entry.

  • The potential winner must respond within 48 hours of notification to claim the prize.

  • If the potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time period, or is disqualified for any reason, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.

9. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its officers, directors, volunteers, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors; (c) printing errors; or (d) injury or damage to persons or property.

10. DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Riverside County, California.

11. PRIVACY: Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy. By entering, you grant the Sponsor permission to share your email address and any other personally identifiable information with the other Sweepstakes Entities for the purpose of administration and prize fulfillment.
